We only allow 14 year old campers if you have attended Ajax Sleepaway in the past. These Ajax Elders still get to be a camper at camp! They get some additional perks, but in exchange have some additional responsibilities. As a 14 year old Ajax Elder:

Added Cool Things

• Town night once per session - go into basalt for movie and pizza

• Get to design your own camp activity with a counselor and offer it during the session to camp.

• Ajax Elder Special Hat.

• Get to chisel your name into the Ajax Elder ski.

• One-stay up night beyond regular camp bedtime with dessert.

• Get to wake up 30 minutes before everyone else (haha, just kidding 14-year olds)

Added Responsibilities

• Help serve meals.

• Help with food delivery shipments

• Generally, act as a role model for all ages of campers. We expect you to exhibit the behavior of a great camper, as the younger kids will all be looking up to you.

*This is a privilege to be able to attend camp as a Ajax Elder, and we reserve the right to kindly request that 14 year-olds that cannot act as great role models do not attend camp. If you are a 14-year old attending as an Ajax Elder, you agree to the above.
